Soothing Herbal Ginger Latte
This cozy and soothing ginger latte is one of my favorite elixirs especially on a crisp fall morning! This latte is herbal, adaptogenic, and oh so creamy and cozy.
I’ve been on a huge ginger kick lately and that isn’t ending anytime soon. What I love about ginger is that it is a powerful functional food that not only supports your immune system (we could all use an extra boost during the pandemic, amiright?!), but it can also help relieve nausea, menstrual cramps, and muscle fatigue during that time of the month.
This is one of my go-to drinks during the menstrual phase of my cycle. I often swap out my matcha latte for this since caffeine ( alcohol, sugar, and coffee), can exacerbate period symptoms. This way I still get to enjoy a tasty and cozy matcha as part of my morning ritual, but in a way that better serves me during this time. That said, if you’re not a fan of herbal, feel free to swap out the dandy blend with a shot of your favorite espresso. However, don’t knock it until you try it!
