Pina Colada Smoothie

If you like Pina Coladas…in the dunes of the CAPE! I’m a big smoothie lover year-round, so it’s no surprise that I’m constantly on the lookout for new smoothie combos! I love sipping’ pina coladas while on vacation, so figured, why not enjoy a healthier alternative at home. This is one of my favorite warmer weather smoothie recipes because it’s so refreshing once the temps start to rise. Throw in some rum if you’re feeling frisky!

Pina Colada Smoothie Recipe:

  • 1 cup frozen pineapple

  • 1 cup coconut yogurt siggi’s coconut flavored is one of my favorite because it’s made from grass-fed cows with little sugar) or dairy free coconut yogurt alternative (my favorite is COYO or GT’s)

  • 1 tbs coconut oil or butter

  • 2-4 ice cubes

  • Splash of coconut water (enough to blend)

  • 1-2 scoops of collagen peptides (promote healthy aging, joint and bone health, sports nutrition and skin beauty).

  • 1 shot of your favorite rum (optional)

Instructions:

Combine all ingredients in a Vitamix or high speed blender. Top with some fresh coconut flakes and bee pollen!
