Red Currant CBD Infused Spritzer
I don’t know about you, but I’ve been keeping it calm, cool, and collected this summer with this red currant CBD infused spritzer.
Do you use CBD ? I’ve been taking it for about a year now, and am a big fan. I started using it while finishing my Masters to help manage stress, promote a little extra relaxation, and take a little edge off my perfectionistic Virgo tendencies. I’ve also continued using it to help promote better sleep and muscle recovery from running. The best part is I feel relaxed, focused, at ease to function and go about my day (not stoned, paranoid, loopy or drowsy) and experience no side effects vs taking OTC medicine.
I mainly use it as a tincture, applying it under my tongue in the morning or before bed, but every now and then I like to switch things up and add it to beverages like this spritzer or my morning matcha.
So what is CBD? Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally occurring compound found in the hemp plant, often recognized for its therapeutic properties. Unlike marijuana which contains THC (gives you the mind-altering high), CBD contains no THC and is NOT psychoactive. Some of the health benefits include:

Not all CBD brands are treated equally or reliable, so make sure to do your research before buying CBD or cbd infused products. My personal favorite is Charlottes Webb, 17mg strength.
CBD infused spritzer ingredients:
1 tsp raw ACV
1 tsp organic maple syrup or raw honey
1/2 fresh squeezed lemon
2 tbs red currants OR berry of choice (muddled)
4-5 mint leaves (muddled)
8oz plain sparkling mineral water
1 droplet (17ml) Charlottes Webb cbd oil
Combine ingredients and mix well together. The CBD oil may not completely mix, or may rise to the top of the beverage, that is normal.
