Welcome to 2018! A new year a new you - right? Maybe you’ve set out to achieve goals and manifestations for the new year – and that’s awesome. Kudos to you. But what about taking time to reflect on the little things that bring you joy in life. While goal setting can be great – at times it is also nice to back off just a bit and slow down – especially with the shockingly cold weather that we’ve experienced thus so far this year.

Perhaps this winter season, you can focus on taking the time to fulfill your cravings for pleasure, relaxation, adventure and or sweetness in your life. You deserve to relax. You deserve to have adventures! You deserve sweetness.

It’s becoming ever so important for our overall well-being to take time out and do things that offer personal nourishment – those which support our health goals. Whether that be going on a snowy adventure out in nature, enjoying a warm epsom salt bath, spending extra time meditating, developing a home yoga practice, or just spending time indoors with friends cozying up by the fireplace.

Some things on my personal nourishment menu that honor health goals…

  • Massage

  • Yoga

  • Dance

  • Shower

  • Green Drinks

  • Tea

  • Pedicure

  • Flowers

  • Deep conversation

  • House Cleaner

  • Warm clothes out of the dryer

Take time out to recharge and honor this winter mode of hibernation by adding a few items to our own personal nourishment menu that you can incorporate this season! Before you know it, Spring will be here and you will be recharged and ready to go!
