S&B Tie the Knot in Charleston, SC
On October 7, 2017, my husband and I shared what was one of the most magical days of our lives getting married in Charleston, South Carolina at Magnolia Plantation. If you don’t know me by now, I am not someone that grew up knowing exactly what I wanted for a wedding + all of the details – not even close - and I must have changed my mind a hundred times during our 22-month wedding planning journey. I actually always thought if one day I got married, I’d elope. Well when there are two of you it always comes down to compromise, so together we decided that we wanted an intimate wedding in a place we loved visiting– making Charleston the perfect destination.
Our wedding day and weekend turned out to be everything and more. If I could do it all over again, I would… again and again and again (with hopes that the second time around I’d worry a bit less)! To have one day with your closest friends and family surrounding you as you vow your love to one another – and also have a day of people pampering you/bring you drinks/help you get dressed and go to the bathroom ha ha - well I’d say that is pretty special in my books.
Our day was memorable thanks to our family, friends, vendors and cooperation of Mother Nature (thank you for no rain OR hurricanes – guess I can return the dozen umbrellas I overnighted from Amazon) … and below are the deets!
