Wedding Music

Choosing music for our wedding day was one of the most challenging aspects of wedding planning! For those of you who have been to one of my yoga classes, I take great effort creating each monthly playlist so it sets the proper tone for our practice, sequencing, and season. Just as in yoga, I felt it was so important to put together a meaningful playlist of songs that set the right tone for our special day and choose those that had significant meaning to us as a couple. I think I changed my walking down the aisle song half a dozen times during our 18 months of planning - deciding that this one gave me the chills, therefore had to be "the one". For our first song, I'm a big fan of Ray Lamontagne, but the Hubby wasn't feeling it, so together we decided that Mazzy Star made the cut. You can find our full wedding playlist suggestions here and our getting ready music here. Stay tuned for details of our actual wedding post!
