Golden Milk Latte Recipe
This herbal golden milk latte is packed with anti-inflammatory properties and has been a go-to a a pick-me up and immune booster. Golden milk gets its anti-inflammatory properties from its star ingredient, turmeric. Other health benefits include improved immunity, detoxified liver, prevents chronic disease, indigestion, soothes cough or sore through and contains potent antioxidants.
Recipe:
1 cup homemade organic coconut milk
1 tsp of organic cinnamon
1 inch piece of fresh organic numeric or 1 tbs of numeric powder
1 inch piece of fresh organic ginger or 1 tbs of ginger powder
1 tbs of organic coconut oil
Dash of ground pepper
Splash of maple syrup
Splash of vanilla extract (optional)
Combine all ingredients in a Vitamix or high speed blender. Strain any pulp if you used fresh ingredients. Serve hot or iced.
