8 Ways to Align Yourself With the Fall Season

Did you know that aligning yourself with nature can help you live in the path of least resistance?

Fall is naturally the time to take stock of your life — determining what is serving you well, and what is not serving your highest good. If you really tune into your body and soul, you’ll notice an inner calling for a necessity to shed and let go of what is no longer serving you.

As Rumi says, be like a tree and let the dead leaves drop.

Consider the following 8 ways you might shed your dead leaves this time of year:

  1. Let go of grudges.

  2. Forgive someone.

  3. Be easier on yourself.

  4. Take a break for self-improvement. Spend this season being in love with yourself exactly as you are.

  5. Notice what you complain about most often, then choose to either get to the root of it, or vow to stop complaining about it.

  6. Purify your body. Fast, cleanse, or do what is needed to get your digestion on track.

  7. Simplify your schedule. Shed over-scheduling and prioritize.

  8. Clear the clutter. Throw things away, unsubscribe to emails, clean out your closet, your wallet, or purse.
